Artist Statement: Believing that I was nurtured and loved by a divine Mother before I was born is a precious thought to me. With all of the power of divinity in Her hands, she could wrap us in the very cosmos themselves as she cared for us. It's a comforting image, picturing my beginning, with Heavenly Mother.

Artist Bio: Ashley lives with her husband and three young children in the woods of Washington State. She studied recreational therapy, loves the outdoors, is passionate about oil painting and drawing, and uses art to understand herself and enjoy the beauty of the world around her.
